AI Skill Templates: 118+ SKILL.md Templates — Cromus
Cromus provides 118+ structured AI skill templates across 17 categories. Each template is a SKILL.md file — a portable specification defining one atomic AI task with model recommendations, input/output contracts, step-by-step instructions, token estimates, and a baseline Croms score.
Skill categories include: Research (SERP Sampling, Entity Extraction), Content (Outline Generator, Brief Formatter), Development (Chunking Plan, Docstring Generation), Technical (Issue Classification, Priority Scoring), Operations (Intent Classification, Routing Recommendation), Marketing (Social Post Variants, Positioning Extraction), Accessibility (WCAG Severity Scoring), CMS (Content QA Checks, DAM Asset Validation), Data (Document Ingestion), Processing (Chunk Processor, Result Aggregator), Planning (Query Planner, Task Decomposer), Validation (Fact Checker, Reviewer Agent), Analysis (Content Gap Finder), Storage (Qdrant Index), Startup (Investor One-Pager Writer), Governance (Compliance Check), and Workflow Position (Entry Point, Mid-Chain Router).
SKILL.md frontmatter fields include: name, version, model, complexity, tokens, croms, inputs, steps, outputs, workflow_position, and compatibility. Templates are portable across four platforms: Cromus Native (all fields preserved), Replit Agent (strips license, compatibility, metadata, allowed-tools), AgentSkills.io (strips enabled), and OpenClaw (strips enabled, compatibility).
Skills are the atomic building blocks inside workflow templates. A workflow template is a connected multi-skill graph; a skill template is a single node in that graph. Skill packs bundle multiple related skills into a downloadable ZIP.
