ETHOS.md Validator: AI Governance — Cromus
The Cromus ETHOS.md Validator is a free community tool that analyzes and scores ETHOS.md behavioral governance files. ETHOS.md is an open standard for defining how AI agents should behave — including ethical constraints, fallback behaviors, escalation policies, and transparency requirements.
The validator provides: Completeness scoring (checking all governance sections), Ethics Croms assessment (measuring governance gaps that create risk), Profile matching (comparing against known governance patterns), Behavioral constraint validation (verifying constraint definitions are actionable), and Actionable recommendations for strengthening governance.
